3-Day / 3-Night Storm Chasing Expedition Experience the heart of Tornado Alley during one of the most active periods of severe weather season. This specialized weekend chase focuses on the dynamic environments created by overnight QLCS (Quasi-Linear Convective System) storms, which often lay outflow boundaries across the Plains that become the focal point for the following day’s supercell development. These boundaries frequently enhance low-level wind shear and storm rotation, creating opportunities for highly photogenic supercells, dramatic structure, and potentially tornadic storms. Chases during this time of year commonly target areas from the northern Texas Panhandle into western Kansas and Nebraska, depending on daily forecast conditions and storm evolution.
